Revlon Expressionists Fall 2011 Gucci Westman Nail Polishes Carbonite and Facets of Fuschia

Revlon's Expressionists Fall 2011 Gucci Westman nail polishes came out a while back, but we only got them in Canada a few weeks ago, at least that's the case in my area. This collection came with 5 new polishes: Blue Mosaic, Facets of Fuschia, Smoky Canvas, Starry Pink, and Carbonite (along with new lipstick, eyeshadow, and lipgloss).

I saw the display above at Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, it was full stocked at the time, this was a few weeks ago. Since then I have notice most Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall stores have these, but once they are out of a colour, I don't see them restocking at all. So get these while you can.

I picked up two polishes from this collection, I find that with glitters, they look pretty but I don't really wear them. I love how Starry Pink looks on other blogs though, and may go back for that one. Carbonite was the one that I had to have, it's said to be a dupe for Chanel's Graphite. Facets of Fuschia is said to be a dupe for Deborah Lippman's Bad Romance. I love how Revlon gives cheaper alternatives to expensive high-end nail polishes!

Facets of Fuschia is a black purple jelly base with purple glitter and hexagonal glitter throughout. This one takes three coats and you need to let each layer dry or else you will move the glitters around.

Carbonite is probably my favourite fall colour in a long time. It's gorgeous and I will be wearing it a lot. It's a dark grey with light silver shimmer and it can look gold or charcoal depending on the lighting. This one can be achieved with one coat only, the polish is that good. This polish came separate in the US, but in Canada it's been put out with the rest of the Expressionists Gucci Westman polishes. If you're looking for a Graphite and Carbonite comparison, check out Lacquered Mom, they seem quite close and I prefer just to have the cheap one.

Did you get either of these?
